Fitbit OS Simulator Release Notes
Release Notes - v0.5.0 - Mar 13th 2018
We are excited to announce the first public release of the Fitbit OS Simulator.
Using the simulator can greatly increase the productivity and speed of the development process, but we recommend testing your applications and clock faces on real devices before publishing within the App Gallery.
The simulator has been designed to work with Windows 7, Windows 10, and macOS Sierra (or newer).
Please note that there are currently some limitations and known issues which we will address in future updates.
The Device Geolocation API is not currently implemented, and the Companion Geolocation API will only return a static value.
The Sensor APIs such as Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Orientation are not currently implemented.
Companion Life-cycle, Wake-interval and Location-change APIs are not currently implemented.
Companion Peer API currently returns bogus data, except for
